I tried to do Wonderful (The Way I Feel). Does this look right to everybody?

Chorus:
I feel so wonderful
Wonderful
Wonderful the way I feel (X2)

It matters to me
Took a long time to get here
If it would have been easy
I would not have cared

Like a tropical forest
Like a cop on the beat
When all is in order
You get lost in the heat

Chorus

Doesnít matter to me
I could take it or leave it
I could learn from way back when
And still live right now

With the sun on my shoulders
And the wind at my back
I will never grow older
At least not in my mind

Chorus

Iím going where there ainít no fear
Iím going where the spirit is near
Iím going where the living is easy
And the people are kind
A new state of mind
Iím going where there ainít no disease
Iím going where there ainít no police
Iím going where there ainít no need
To escape from what is
Only spirits at ease

Looks good man.  I will add that one and Dear Wife!
I'm digging, digging deep in myself, but who needs a shovel when you have a little boy like mine.

Was watching Elizabethtown the other day and I'm pretty sure it's:

Just to fall at her man in another jam,

Just a four-letter man in another jam,

The female version emphasizes it a bit more.

Just want to point out that the Split EP lyrics aren't on the main site anymore for some reason.

got a handful of skin and two ways to rub it
a head fulla water and oh man, a bucket

breathin'....
after dark

the air was cold, my mouth was dry
miles a water and i'm cut and dry...

(almost sounds like)
eatin'....
after dark

...sure could use some Jostaffeine...

The river is moving. The blackbird must be flying.

here's what i got of El Caporal so far:

If you really wanted me to know
then you sure got a funny way of showin it
el caporal.  el caporal.  el caporal.
your money's no good here.

well if you really don't want me to know
then you sure gots'ta a silly way of showin it
el caporal. el caporal. el caporal.
my dogs lie in your dumpster(???)

slide through your life
straight like a knife
sway when you dance
play a game in your pants

it's all new you see
they're believing in things
believing in things that i do.

have we played all the chords we can finger?
have we made all the musical shapes?
i just hope that my kisses love will linger(??)
on your sweet, confused captains face.

and the things you say just aren't makin any sense
and the wars you wage are mostly killing innocents.

when i wanna say all that's good has gone away
you tell me no
it isn't so.

but if you really wanted me to know
then you sure got a funny way of showin it
el caporal. el caporal. el caporal.

(can't figure out the last line exactly.)

Devil's Peanut Butter  [Rough Draft]

Maybe I aint got lots of time or money
baby i aint got anything to do.
but i'll make believe that i can still conceive a way of getting through
well I know I shouldn't do, but I do.

you like to build your livin out of daydreams
you like to watch those daydreams turn to dust
you might never get enough or maybe you've had too much
you know you shouldn't do, but you do.

who's to say no one can do better?
who's to say no one can do it all?
if i can't believe in movie screens ____ (??)
then I wont believe in anything at all.

sing the light of ____(??)  inside a chorus.
hear it singing, ringing out to you.
and make believe that you can still conceive a way of getting through.
well you know you shouldn't do, but you do.

who's to say no one can do better?
who's to say no one can do it all?
if i can't believe in movie screens ____ (??)
then I wont believe in anything
wont believe in anything, won't believe in anything at all.

The single for Run Thru.  You can still find it occasionally on ebay or overseas CD warehouses.

I corrected this in another thread to but I believe it's "single out a voice inside a chorus"

Need some help with Like It Should and Churches Banks and Bars, but here's what I've got:

Like It Should

I donít ever think that I could
Find another thing thatís so good
True lifeís often a mystery
But the answers never seem so clear to me

If I promise to listen while you play
Iíd just be kidding myself once again
When youíve ridden a ride thatís this good
The riders donít feel like they should

Sometimes I lay on my side
Picture someone I know Iíll ???
Sometimes life donít work like it should
Sometimes I wonder how Iíve had it so good
Sometimes life donít work like it should
Sometimes I wonder how Iíve had it so good

Churches Banks and Bars

How do I Ė I   say?
How do I say
Words, I donít know, I donít have them yet
But someday the meaning began

Now I know what to say
I always say
I know I got whatís only began
And Iíll thank ya to stop askin after this
   A lonely day  X 3
   A lonely day
   A lonely day

I love the way you felt, baby
That was way back when
The building of time began
A time Iíll never forget
   A lonely day  X 3
   A lonely day
   A lonely day

My records show that it was only played one time, during a Monsters of Folk show on 2-20-04 in Minneapolis, MN.   If I can find the recording later, I will post the song.

There are two versions I know of, referenced in this thread:

http://www.mymorningjacket.com/cgi-bin/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1263139176

Okonokos vinyl (or The Okonokos Project, if you have that; credit BH) and the Sweatbees EP.
Close enough!
